Applications are invited by National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE), Chennai for admission to two year Master of Public Health (MPH) program offered in Epidemiology and Health Systems at ICMR School of Public Health for the commencing session 2013.
Eligibility Criteria for National Institute of Epidemiology
- Candidates holding M.B.B.S degree recognized by Medical Council of India are eligible to apply.
- Candidates working in public health, preferably in State or Central Government Department or in Medical institutions, sponsored on deputation for two years on full-time basis are eligible to apply.
- Candidates with three years of experience in public health related activities are eligible to apply.
- Candidates having age up to 45 years as on 1.7.2013 are eligible to apply.
- SC/ST/OBCIPH candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per government of India rules.
How to Apply for National Institute of Epidemiology
- Candidates can download the Information brochure and prescribed application form from the official website.
- Applications should be submitted along with the application fee of Rs.600/-(Rupees Six hundred only) by means of a demand draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of "SCTIMST" payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Applications without the application fee will not be considered.

Selection Procedure for National Institute of Epidemiology
Selections of candidates are done based on the following:
- Review of the application form
- Written test (if necessary)
- Personal interview at NIE, Chennai
