TANCET 2013 Exam Dates

Anna University has announced the exam dates for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2013), which will be held in April 2013. The TANCET 2013 for MBA and MCA programs will be held on Saturday, April 06, 2013 and for M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan programs will be held on Sunday, April 07, 2013.

TANCET is an entrance exam which is conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamilnadu from candidates who seek admission to MBA, MCA and M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan degree programs for the year 2013-2014 offered at University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Centres of Anna University, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges and Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges including standalone Institutions) in Tamilnadu.

Application Procedure for TANCET 2013:

• Application form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application.
• The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidatesbelonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate in card format) as entrance test fee for any one of the programs either MBA/MCA/M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan.
• If a candidate desires to appear for more than one program, for every additional program, he/she has to pay Rs.500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).

Important Dates:

• Last date for registration in person at co-coordinating centers and registration through internet: Tuesday, February 26, 2013.
• Last date for registration in person at Chennai centre and receipt of applications registered through internet: Thursday, February 28, 2013.
• Date of entrance exam for MBA and MCA: Saturday,April 06, 2013.
• Date of entrance exam for M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan:Sunday, April 07, 2013.
