RGUHS Bangalore Invites Applications for Medical/Dental Pg Programs

Applications are invited by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore for admission to Post Graduate Degree and Diploma courses in Medical subjects and Dental subjects in Government colleges and Government seats in Private Medical and Dental Colleges and Deemed Universities within the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2013-14.

Eligibility Criteria for RGUHS, Bangalore

• Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates must have studied and passed the courses leading to the award of MBBS/BDS Degrees in colleges recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and Government of India established by law and located in Karnataka State; or
• Candidate must be of Karnataka origin who has studied MBBS/BDS degrees in colleges outside Karnataka recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and Government of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India.

How to Apply for RGUHS, Bangalore

• In Person: Printout of application form filled online, along with attested copies of all required certificates, may be submitted, in person, at RGUHS, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore - 560041, and the hall ticket for the entrance test shall be down loaded from the university website.
• In Absentia: Any person authorized by the candidate duly signed by him, can submit the printout of application form filled in all respects along with attested copies of all required certificates. The hall ticket for the entrance test shall be down loaded from the university website.
• By Post: Print out of application filled online, along with attested copies of all required certificates may be sent by post to “The Member secretary, PGET Cell, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore - 560041”. Candidates should super scribe on the cover as “Application for PGET 2013”. The hall ticket for the entrance test shall be down loaded from the university website.

Selection procedure for RGUHS, Bangalore

The selection of candidates is done based on the Post Graduate Entrance Test (Medical & Dental) PGET - 2013 conducted by the university.

• Last date for online registration: Saturday, January 19, 2013.
• Last date for receipt of printed application with documents either by person or by post at university: Thursday, January 24, 2013.
• Date of entrance test: Sunday, February 24, 2013.
