The program will be offered to senior rank executives for a period of
18 months. Classes for the program will be conducted 4 times in a month.
The formal approval for the combined program is awaited.
Though the association with Olin Business School is yet to be passed
by the senate of IIT-B, the academic decision making body of IIT-B and
the board has made its in-principle approval. However, it is doubtful
that the program will commence before 2014.
As per a source from IIT-B, it is important to connect with senior
management executives and provide them high class education in
management.
Olin is one of the
leading schools in providing executive education. IIT-B is among the 28
universities besides Washington University that is a part of a global
consortium operating on sustainability and energy issues.
Since 2002, Olin has been in similar collaboration with the Fudan University in Shanghai
