NEE 2013 Exam Dates

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has announced the online exam dates forNERIST Entrance Examination (NEE 2013) which is expected to be conducted in the month of April 2013. NEE exam for NEE - II and NEE – III will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, for NEE - I will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013.

The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is being conducted every year for admission to (A) Engineering & Technology branches (Technology stream) of  (i) Agricultural Engineering, (ii) Civil Engineering, (iii) Computer Science & Engineering, (iv) Electrical Engineering, (v) Electronics & Communication Engineering, (vi) Mechanical Engineering, and (B) Forestry stream through different entry levels such as NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III.

Eligibility Criteria for NEE 2013

• NEE - I for base module (Certificate course) (for class X passed candidates).
• NEE - II for Diploma in Engineering & Technology (technology stream) (for 10+2 candidates with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)).
• NEE - II for B.Sc. degree in Forestry (Forestry stream) (for 10+2 candidates with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB))
• NEE - II (Voc) for Diploma in Engineering & Technology (technology stream)( for 10+2 vocational/ITI/NERIST certificate holders in the branches AE, CE, ECE, EE & ME).
• NEE - III for B. Tech degree in Engineering & Technology (Technology stream) (for Diploma holders in AE, CE, ECE, EE, & ME and having 60% marks considering the aggregate marks of all the three years taken together and NERIST Diploma holder.

Application Procedure for NEE 2013

• NEE – 2013 application will be available in www.neeonline.ac.in from January 15, 2013.
• Offline forms for NEE - 2013 will not be sold.
• Candidate can pay examination fee through credit/debit card, internet banking or bank challan in any branch of Axis Bank.

Paper Pattern for NEE 2013

The paper pattern for NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III willhave one question paper of 150 marks consisting of three sections and of three hours duration.  All questions will be of objective type with multiple-choice answers. For every wrong answer to a question, 25% (¼^th) of the marks carried by that question will be deducted. There shall be no deduction for un-attempted question.
