Manipal University Invites Applications for B.Tech and M.Tech Programs

Applications are invited by Manipal University, Manipal for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered in various specializations at Manipal Institute of Technology (Manipal University), Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (Sikkim Manipal University), B.Tech Lateral and Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs for the commencing session 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for Manipal University

• For B.Tech Program: Candidates must be pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology as optional subjects and a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
• For B.Tech Lateral Program: Candidates with3 years diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a state government or B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate can apply.
• For M.Tech Program: The candidates must have passed the courses as mentioned here with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

How to Apply for Manipal University:

• Candidates can apply online through www.manipal.edu or
• Candidates can also get the applications from the selected branches of State Bank of India.
• Required to send the filled in application form to “Director, Admission”, by enclosing a DD for Rs.600/- drawn on ‘Manipal University’ payable at Manipal or Udupi (Karnataka).

Selection procedure for Manipal University

The selections of candidates are doneon the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET)-2013.
