Guru Nanak Dev University Invites Applications for Medical Programs

Applications are invited by Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar for admission to 4 year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program offered at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and 4 1/2 year Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program offered at Faculty of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy for the commencing session 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for Guru Nanak Dev University:

• For BPT:
  • Candidates should be 17 years of age on December 31 of the year of admission.
  • Candidates should have passed +2 (Medical stream) of the Punjab School Education Board, or equivalent examination with 50% marks.
• For B.Pharm:
  • Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary Examination (12th grade) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Any other examination recognized equivalent thereto.

How to Apply for Guru Nanak Dev University:

• Candidates need to fill the application form online.
• Alternatively, the application form can also be accessed athttp://www.gnduadmissions.org
• Each application form must be accompanied by application fee of Rs.1000/-(for General Category candidates) or Rs.500/- (for SC/ST candidates).
• All applications shall be submitted online only through main website of the University (www.gndu.ac.in) or www.gnduadmissions.org.

Selection Procedure for Guru Nanak Dev University:

Selection for both the programs will be made on the basis of merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination.
