Lovely Professional University Entrance Tests 2013

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has a mammoth ultra modern campus sprawling over more than 600 acres of land on the National Highway No.1 at the entry of Jalandhar City. LPU Eligibility/Entrance Tests:
LPU NEAT (National Engineering Aptitude Test) 2013
LPU NEAT (National Engineering Aptitude Test) 2013 is an eligibility test for admission to some of the undergraduate, post graduate and lateral entry engineering programs offered by LPU. The test will be conducted under various categories as mentioned below:
NEAT-UG 2013
LPU NEAT - UG 2013 is an eligibility test for admission to the following programs: B.Tech, B.Tech - M.Tech (Dual Degree), B.Tech - MBA (Dual Degree), B.Tech (Hons), B.Tech (Hons) - M.Tech (Dual Degree), B.Tech (Hons) - MBA (Dual Degree), B.Tech (with International Exposure) and B.Tech (with Twinning Arrangement).
NEAT - PG 2013:
LPU NEAT - PG 2013 is an eligibility test for admission to the following programs: Full time/part time M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, full time M.Tech in VLSI, Biotechnology, Nano Technology, Integrated PG Diploma-M.Tech and PG Diploma in VLSI.
NEAT - LE 2013:
LPU NEAT - LE 2013 is an eligibility test for admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry)
Scheme of the Test for NEAT-UG, NEAT-PG, NEAT-LE:
  • The test will be of one and half hour duration and will comprise of multiple choice questions.
  • The test for NEAT-UG will be conducted online and at some specific centers in offline (pen and paper) mode also.
  • The test for NEAT-PG and NEAT-LE will be conducted in online mode only.
  • The language of the test paper shall be English only.
  • There would be no negative marks for a wrong answer.
  • The test for NEAT-UG will be based on the syllabus for 10+1 & 10+2 of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
  • The test for NEAT-PG will be based on the syllabus of under graduate engineering programs.
  • The test for NEAT-LE will be based on the syllabus of Diploma in engineering programs.
LPU NAT (National Aptitude Test) 2013
LPU NAT (National Aptitude Test) 2013 is an eligibility test for admission to some of the programs offered by LPU. The test will be conducted under various categories as mentioned below:

LPU NAT - UG 2013 is an eligibility test for admission to the following programs: BCA (Hons), BCA (Hons) - MCA (Hons) (Dual Degree), BBA (Hons), BBA (Hons) - MBA (Dual Degree), B.Com (Hons), B.Com (Hons) - MBA (Dual Degree), B.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology, B.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology - M.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology (Dual Degree), B.Sc (Hons) Microbiology, B.Sc (Hons) Microbiology - M.Sc (Hons) Microbiology(Dual Degree), B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry/ B.Sc (Hons) Physics, B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture-M.Sc Agriculture (Dual Degree), B.Sc (Hons) Economics, B.Sc (Hons) Botany/ Zoology.
LPU NAT – PG 2013
LPU NAT-PG-2013 (Management and Pharmacy) is an eligibility test for admission to the following programs: MBA, MBA (Hons.), MBA (with International Exposure and Twinning Arrangement), MBA in Entrepreneurship and Retail Management, Information Technology), International Business, Hospital and Healthcare Management, Tourism and Hospitality & Media Management, full time M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry, Quality Assurance and Drug Regulatory Affairs.
Scheme of the Test for NAT-UG and NAT-PG:
  • The test for NAT-UG and NAT-PG (Management) will be of one and half hour duration, for NAT-PG (Pharmacy) will be of 100 minutes duration and will comprise of multiple choice questions.
  • The test will be conducted in online mode only.
  • The language of the test paper shall be English only.
  • There would be no negative marks for a wrong answer.
  • The test for NAT-UG will be based on the syllabus of 10+1 and 10+2 of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi
  • The test for NAT-PG (Pharmacy) will be based on the syllabus of under graduate pharmacy programs.
Candidates interested in pursuing any one of the above mentioned programs have to appear for the respective entrance exams, which is conducted by the university. Entrance exam is one of the scrutinizing processes for taking admission to various programs in the university.
