All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced the online exam dates for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT-2013), which will be conducted in May 2013. The AICTE-GPAT will be held onThursday, May 16, 2013 to Saturday, May 18, 2013.
AICTE-GPAT is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to all postgraduate Pharmacy programs approved by AICTE for the academic year 2013-14.
Eligibility Criteria for AICTE-GPAT 2013
- Candidates holding bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates) and those who are in the final year of B.Pharmacy course are eligible for appearing in GPAT-2013-14 examination.
- Candidates holding B.Pharmacy 1st year to 3rd year students are not eligible to appear in GPAT-2013 examination.

Application Procedure for AICTE-GPAT 2013
- The application fee is Rs.1200/- for general & OBC category candidates, and Rs.600/- for SC/ST/PD category candidates. The application fee is exclusive of bank charges. Application fee once remitted to the bank will be non-refundable under any circumstances. (Person with disability)
- The mode of applying for GPAT-2013 examination will be online. The detailed process of online application is described at appropriate place on the website.

Paper Pattern for AICTE-GPAT 2013
- GPAT-2013 is a multiple choice test of 3 hours duration with 125 questions.
- For each correct answer 4 marks are awarded and for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
