Yenepoya University Invites Applications for MBBS/BDS Programs

Applications are invited by Yenepoya University, Mangalore for admission to four and half year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) offered at Yenepoya Medical College, Deralakatte, Mangalore and four years Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programs offered atYenepoya Dental College, Deralakatte, Mangalore for the academic year 2013-14.

Eligibility Criteria for Yenepoya University

• The applicant should have passed the two-year pre-university examination in Karnataka or its equivalent examination.
• The candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the academic year of admission.
• The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination conducted by any recognized Indian Higher Secondary Board or equivalent qualification
• Candidates who have passed B.Sc examinations are also eligible for admission subject to the subjects grouping as approved by the university.
• The candidate should have secured not less than 50% aggregate in the Science subjects in the qualifying examination and a pass in English for admission to MBBS and BDS. However, for candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe categories, the minimum aggregate is 40%.

How to Apply for Yenepoya University

• Application forms may be obtained from the office of the undersigned and can also be downloaded from the official website.
• The duly filled in application should reach the undersigned on or before the last date prescribed along with a DD for Rs.750/- (non-refundable) towards registration fee in favour of Yenepoya University, payable at Mangalore.

Selection Procedure for Yenepoya University

Selection of candidates will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the common entrance test conducted by the university.
