Thapar University Invites Applications for Distance MCA Program

Applications are invited by Thapar University, Patiala for admission to three year distance Master of Computer Application (MCA) program for the commencing session 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for Thapar University:

• Candidates with recognized bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with mathematics at least at 10+2 school level and has also qualified in the entrance test to be conducted by the university are eligible to apply. Or
• Candidates with recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with mathematics as one of the subjects and has also qualified in the entrance test to be conducted by the university are eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure for Thapar University:

• Selection will be made on the basis of the merit of the entrance test to be conducted online by the University across India.
• The candidates having minimum 20% (15% for SC/ST) in the entrance test shall only be considered for admission.

• Last date for receipt of completed application forms: Monday, June 10, 2013.
• Date of online entrance test: Wednesday, June 26, 2013 to Sunday, June 30, 2013.
