Applications are invited by MAHER University, Chennai for admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) offered at Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc (N)) at Meenakshi College of Nursing, Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) at Meenakshi College of Physiotherapy for the commencing session 2013.
Eligibility Criteria for MAHER University, Chennai:
- Candidates passing HSC or equivalent qualifying examination with 50% of aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) can apply for MBBS and BDS degree courses.
- Candidates passing HSC or equivalent qualifying examination with 45% of aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English can apply for B.Sc (N) and BPT degree courses.
- The age of the candidates should not be less than 17 years as on 31.12.2013.
How to Apply for MAHER University, Chennai:
- Application form and Brochure for MBBS and BDS can be obtained on payment of Rs. 1000 by cash and Rs. 500 for B.Sc (N) and BPT degree courses.
- To receive the application by post for MBBS and BDS, the candidate should send a requisition letter along with a demand draft of Rs. 1,100 and for B.Sc (N) and BPT a demand draft of Rs. 600 as the case may be drawn in favor of The Registrar, MAHER payable at Chennai.
- The application form can also be downloaded and submitted along with the demand draft for Rs 1000 for MBBS and BDS courses and Rs 500 for B.Sc (N) and BPT degree courses.
Selection Procedure for MAHER University, Chennai:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the University on all India basis.
