Amity University to launch a new campus in London

Amity University-a private Indian University is gearing up to open its new campus in London for 15,000 foreign students. This news was announced while a UK official was in India to promote links with the country.  Members of the Amity University are hoping to attract the best students and academicians from around the globe to its new campus, if the proposal for a new £100 million campus is approved.

Higher authorities from Amity University revealed that they have received the support of the London Mayor who claimed the opportunity to be exciting.  In addition, authorities from the Mayor’s office have also stated that the land for the new campus was available and would be working with the university to see whether any of the sites would be suitable.
The proposed new campus will be a huge residential campus in London. The university is hoping to make London the hub for Amity with the best students, the best faculty members and best researchers from around the world. The launch of new campus in London is also expected to bring about a positive impact in international students enrollment rates, which is currently being hampered by the government’s stringent visa policies.
