Tezpur University Assam Invites Applications for Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited by Tezpur University, Assam for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program for various departments for the commencing session 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for Tezpur University

• Master’s degree in Humanities and Social Sciences/Management Sciences/Science/Engineering/ Technology or master’s degree in allied subject with consistently good academic record and a minimum 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
• BE/B.Tech with an aggregate of 80% marks or equivalent CGPA with valid GATE score.
• A fellowship in Chartered Accountancy/Company Secretaryship from a recognized Indian or a foreign institution with not less than 60% or equivalent CGPA having a minimum of bachelor’s degree.

How to Apply for Tezpur University

• Candidates can submit the application form by visiting Tezpur University website or application may be submitted online, www.tezu.ernet.in.
• Candidates can submit the application from the designated branches of Punjab National Bank at Dibrugarh, Guwahati (Fancy Bazar, Bhangagarh), Jorhat, Imphal, Shillong, Tezpur and Tezpur University Campus by paying Rs. 510/- ( Rs 260/- for SC/ST) only in cash.
•  Downloaded application form must be accompanied by a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST) only drawn in favor of the Registrar, Tezpur University payable at Tezpur.

Selection procedure for Tezpur University

On the basis of entrance test and personal interview conducted by the concerned department.
