Stung by a cheating racket in postgraduate admission entrance
examination, the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and
Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh is going to hold fresh entrance
examination in the second week of December.
According to a press release issued by the PGIMER on
Thursday, the examination is most likely to be conducted in the
2nd week of December 2012 as per availability of centres for entrance
examination.
However the institute also announced that that to prevent the use of any unfair means, the institute is going to use metal detectors and jammers in all the centres in the next entrance examination.
The institute also said that frisking of all the candidates would be done prior to their entry.
