Two Indians among Forbes Top 15 Classroom Revolutionaries

Suneet Singh Tuli, the CEO of Datawind which manufactures Aakash the low cost tablet device in India and Massachusettes Institute of Technology professor Anant Agarwal have been named by Forbes magazine among the 15 “classroom revolutionaries”.

Unlike many other manufacturing companies, the Datawind has a price target to produce low cost tablet pc for just $35. Tuli has been instrumental in delivering the results, Aakash Tablet is the world’s low cost tablet pc. According to him “I don’t care about creating the iPad killer. I care about the 3 billion people who can afford this device.”


Anant Agarwal
Indian born Agarwal is a professor of computer science at MIT, he is instrumental in setting up https://www.edx.org/. According to him “I aspire to educate a billion people around the world.” EdX is the new combined online offerings of Harvard, MIT, the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Texas
